Best Amazon Prime Day 2021 phone deals on iPhone, Samsung, Google and more

Smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Google and other major brands are currently being discounted as part of the Amazon Prime Day frenzy.

While members of Prime can now get access to a range of exclusive phone deals on the main website, competitors such as Currys, Carphone Warehouse and Very are also slashing the prices of a wide variety of popular mobile handsets.

Don’t forget, you’ll need to sign up to Amazon Prime to make the most of the best Amazon Prime Day deals – but the 30-day free trial is also valid. The sale runs from June 21st and June 22nd. Some great offers have already gone live – the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and Echo Dot (4th gen) are now the cheapest they’ve ever been.

What’s the deal: You can now save more than £150 on the white Galaxy S21 – the most affordable that the Samsung handset has ever been on Amazon. It runs on Android 11, has 128GB of storage and boasts a great 120 Hz display.

Why we chose it: The Galaxy S21 5G has great specs and is a premium handset. In our best Samsung phones guide, we deemed the model to be the best option for those who want a small phone and praised it as a “great looker” with good cameras. We were also fans of its more expensive sibling – the S21 Ultra – during testing, describing that model as the “best gimmick-free flagship Android on the market.”

Best iPhone SIM-free deals for Prime Day

Apple iPhone 12 (256GB, Blue) | £949.00 £799.00 (Sold out)

Apple iPhone stock is currently sold out on Amazon, but models were still available at Currys at the time of writing. The iPhone 12 64 GB was available for £669, while the iPhone 12 mini was priced at £569.

What’s the deal: The 256GB Apple smartphone, the iPhone 12, was £150 off on Amazon for all Prime members – a saving of 16%.

What’s the deal: The OnePlus N10 is currently discounted by more than £140 – plunging from £329 to £184 for Prime members, a whopping 44% off.

Why we chose it: The OnePlus N10 series is a neat little budget Android smartphone that boasts a fluid 90Hz display, a 64MP primary rear sensor, 128GB internal storage and 5G connectivity. Our expert reviewer liked the company’s second affordable handset – the OnePlus Nord CE 5G – calling it a “thoroughly pleasant phone.”

Best Oppo SIM-free deals for Prime Day

Oppo Find X2 Pro 5G | £999.00 £599.00 (Save £400.00 or 40%)

Why we chose it: The Find X2 Pro 5G has some fantastic high-end specs, such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chip and a 4260mAh battery that should easily last for a full day of heavy use.

Best Xiaomi phone SIM-free deals for Prime Day

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro | £269.00 £199.99 (Save £69.01 or 26%)

What’s the deal: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro’s 128GB unlocked model is now £69 off for Amazon Prime members, which is a fantastic discount of 26%. Data from price tracker CamelCamelCamel shows it’s the cheapest it’s ever been on the website. It was previously low on 13th April 2021, when it was £249.

Why we chose it: We were big fans of the budget Android phone after testing. As our expert reviewer, Andrew Williams, wrote: “The Redmi Note 10 Pro is one of the best Android phone buys of the year so far. It offers an almost obscene amount of hardware for your money and lasts longer off a charge than many top-end phones.”

Nokia 5.4 | £159.99 £129.99 (Save £30.00 or 19%)

What’s the deal: You can save £30 on the already pretty affordable Nokia 5.4 smartphone, which is down from £159.99 to £129.00 for Prime members. According to CamelCamelCamel, that’s the cheapest it’s ever been on the retailer.

Why we chose it: The Nokia 5.4 is a solid budget Android 10 phone that boasts a 2-day battery life and a 48 MP quad camera setup. It would be perfectly suited to anyone who needs a no-nonsense handset. In our review of the even cheaper Nokia 3.4 (now £79.99), another phone in the series, our expert critic noted that it was “a sensible buy for someone who just wants a phone for the basics.”
