A staff member at the Elizabeth, New Jersey, facility and one other at an undisclosed location has been confirmed
A member of the medical staff at Elizabeth Detention Center in New Jersey has tested positive for coronavirus, the first confirmed case by Immigration and Customs Enforcement of an employee contracting the virus, Ice confirmed Thursday.
Ice says there is at least one other staff member at a detention center who tested positive for coronavirus but would not disclose where, other than to say the employee did not work in New York or New Jersey. The agency said no detainees in Ice custody currently have confirmed cases of Covid-19.
