Benjamin Netanyahu and his main rival, Benny Gantz, have both vowed to lead Israel’s next government, despite early results and exit polls appearing to show they would both struggle to form a coalition.
Three exit polls run by Israeli television channels, which are unofficial and often unreliable, showed neither the ruling Likud nor the opposition Blue and White would gather enough seats to secure a parliamentary majority.
