Champions League final 2019: How to watch LIVE on TV and online – when is the game?

Champions League contenders are edging their way closer to the final showdown with just 16 teams remaining in the competition.

Four Premier League representatives are still standing ahead of the round of 16 second-leg games.

Tottenham are in the most commanding position following their 3-0 win over Dortmund in the first leg.

Manchester City are also leading their tie, while Liverpool and Manchester United face tougher tasks in their mission to progress.

Last year’s Champions League final saw Liverpool defeated 3-1 by Real Madrid following an infamous injury to Mohamed Salah.

The La Liga giants have lifted the trophy three times in a row and remain a strong threat despite a turbulent domestic campaign.

The final will take place on Saturday 1st June 2019.

Where will the Champions League final be played?

The big game will be hosted at the Wanda Metropolitano, the home of Atletico Madrid.

It boasts a 68,000 capacity and will be packed regardless of which teams reach European club football’s showpiece event.

The match will be shown live on BT Sport in the UK.

In recent years, BT has made the final available to stream for free for non-subscribers via YouTube, but we won’t know for sure if that is the case until closer to the date.
